We are looking for persons of any age, ethnicity, background or gender, who work (or want to work) with polymer clay.  No experience needed.  In fact, if you have never worked with polymer clay, we will get you going.  The people we are looking for should have a desire to bond to a community that revolves around polymer clay.  They should be willing to attend meetings once a month and have fun doing so.  There are no heavy lifting requirements, as there are always lots of willing hands to pitch in and help you carry your bags and equipment.  There may be long periods of sitting, and hands should be able to exert strong, firm pressure to condition clay.  However, if you don’t meet these last two requirements, it is okay, because we allow you to stand and walk around as much as you want and you may even lay down on the couch to take a nap.  If your hands aren’t up to us, we can provide equipment for you to borrow to do the required clay conditioning.  Applicants should be able to enjoy working with others and know how to talk, laugh, listen and enjoy themselves.

We are a convenient drive from Bainbridge, Bremerton, Silverdale, Poulsbo, Kingston, Port Orchard, Gig Harbor, Port Townsend and Port Angeles (and other areas of the Kitsap and Olympic Peninsula).  There are no ferries to take (unless you live on the Seattle side of the water).

If interested, apply to:

The West Sound Polymer Clay Group.  We gather once a month, on the first Saturday, from 11 am to 3 pm at the Silverdale Community Club.  Submit your application on the web, through our site at

You may also send an email through this website (contact button above) and request a phone call for more details.

We thanks you for your interest,

Members of the West Sound Polymer Clay Group

(Please come and play with us and help us build our Group into a Guild!)
